PRIMARY BUSINESS

Telecommunications & Digital Infrastructure

Connectivity is the foundation of the modern world.

As our primary specialism, telecommunications and digital infrastructure is the capability every other MAGDA GLOBAL service is built around. We work across network engineering, fibre and optical infrastructure, wireless infrastructure, carrier and wholesale coordination, cybersecurity, cloud and AI infrastructure, and managed technology services — the ten sub-capabilities detailed further down this page — for operators, enterprises and governments alike.

Focus Areas

How we approach telecommunications

Network Infrastructure

Planning, sourcing and coordination of fixed and wireless network infrastructure builds and upgrades.

Fibre & Connectivity

Fibre-optic deployment scoping, connectivity solutions and last-mile infrastructure coordination.

Communications Systems

Enterprise and public-sector communications systems, from specification through delivery.

Digital Infrastructure

The physical and technical backbone that makes connectivity possible at scale.

Telecommunications & Digital Infrastructure — In Depth

Ten sub-capabilities under our primary specialism

Telecommunications is the foundation every other MAGDA GLOBAL capability is built around. Each area below describes what we deliver as a capability — sourcing, engineering coordination, project management — not a claim that MAGDA itself owns network assets, operates infrastructure, or holds a specific certification.

Network & Connectivity

Planning and sourcing connectivity solutions — fixed, wireless and hybrid — for operators, enterprises and government networks.

  • Connectivity requirement and coverage-gap assessment against a client's network objectives
  • Vendor-neutral sourcing of connectivity hardware, links and last-mile solutions
  • Coordination of multi-site connectivity rollouts across contractors and equipment suppliers
  • Capacity and redundancy planning input for growing network demand

We plan, source and coordinate connectivity solutions on our clients' behalf — we do not operate a carrier network or sell connectivity as a service ourselves.

Network Engineering

Network design, architecture and engineering coordination — routing, switching and topology planning for scalable, resilient networks.

  • Network architecture and topology planning aligned to client growth and performance requirements
  • Routing and switching design coordination with specialist engineering partners and suppliers
  • IP addressing, segmentation and network policy planning support
  • Technical documentation and design handover for client or partner implementation teams

We provide network engineering coordination and design capability — we do not claim to be a licensed telecom operator or to own switching/routing infrastructure ourselves.

Fiber & Optical Infrastructure

Fibre-optic deployment scoping and optical transport infrastructure coordination for high-capacity, long-haul and metro networks.

  • Fibre route planning and feasibility scoping for metro and long-haul builds
  • Sourcing of fibre cable, optical transport equipment and passive infrastructure components
  • Coordination of civil works, permitting liaison and deployment contractors for fibre builds
  • Last-mile fibre connectivity planning for enterprise, government and operator sites

We scope, source and coordinate fibre and optical infrastructure projects — we do not own fibre network assets or operate an optical transport network ourselves.

Wireless Infrastructure

Wireless network infrastructure sourcing and coordination — towers, radio access equipment and point-to-point wireless links.

  • Site identification and wireless coverage planning input for tower and radio access deployments
  • Sourcing of radio access network hardware and point-to-point/point-to-multipoint wireless equipment
  • Coordination of tower construction, equipment installation and commissioning contractors
  • Wireless backhaul planning support for connecting remote or hard-to-reach sites

We coordinate the sourcing and deployment of wireless infrastructure — we do not hold spectrum licences or operate a wireless network ourselves.

Carrier & Wholesale

Coordination support for carrier and wholesale connectivity requirements — interconnection, capacity sourcing and cross-operator project delivery.

  • Coordination support for interconnection and capacity-sourcing projects between operators and enterprises
  • Vendor and equipment sourcing for carrier-grade network build-outs
  • Project management for multi-party carrier and wholesale infrastructure programmes
  • Documentation and process discipline suited to carrier-grade commercial and technical requirements

We provide project delivery and sourcing support for carrier and wholesale infrastructure programmes — we are not a licensed carrier and do not sell wholesale capacity ourselves.

Telecom Infrastructure

The physical infrastructure that supports telecommunications delivery — sites, power, civil works and passive infrastructure coordination.

  • Site acquisition liaison and civil infrastructure coordination for telecom builds
  • Power and backup-power infrastructure sourcing for network sites
  • Passive infrastructure sourcing — cabinets, shelters, cable management and site hardware
  • Coordination between civil, power and active-equipment workstreams on a single delivery timeline

We coordinate the physical infrastructure layer that telecom equipment depends on — we do not own or manage telecom sites as a tower company or infrastructure operator would.

Network Resilience

Resilience, redundancy and continuity planning input for networks that cannot tolerate single points of failure.

  • Redundancy and failover architecture planning support for critical network paths
  • Disaster-recovery and business-continuity planning input for network infrastructure
  • Multi-vendor and multi-path sourcing to reduce single-supplier dependency risk
  • Documentation of resilience design decisions for client governance and audit purposes

We advise on and help plan for network resilience — we do not operate a network ourselves, so we make no uptime or SLA claims about infrastructure we do not run.

Cybersecurity

Security-conscious sourcing, design input and coordination for the technology and network infrastructure we help deliver — treated as a serious ICT capability, not an add-on.

  • Security-by-design principles embedded in network and ICT sourcing and deployment coordination
  • Coordination with specialist security vendors and partners for assessment, testing and monitoring capability
  • Security-conscious procurement of network, cloud and endpoint technology
  • Governance and documentation support for clients needing an auditable security posture

We build security-conscious practice into every technology and network engagement we deliver — we do not claim to hold a specific cybersecurity certification or to operate a security operations centre ourselves unless and until that is independently verified.

Cloud & AI Infrastructure

Cloud and AI-ready infrastructure sourcing and deployment coordination for organisations modernising their compute and data capability.

  • Cloud and hybrid-infrastructure sourcing coordination aligned to client architecture requirements
  • AI-ready compute and data infrastructure sourcing support for enterprise and government clients
  • Integration coordination between cloud infrastructure, on-premises systems and network connectivity
  • Vendor-neutral guidance on infrastructure options to support digital transformation roadmaps

We source and coordinate cloud and AI infrastructure deployments — we do not operate our own data centres or cloud platform, and we make no claims about proprietary AI models or infrastructure we do not own.

Managed Technology Services

Coordinated ongoing support and account management for the technology and network infrastructure delivered through a MAGDA GLOBAL engagement.

  • Post-deployment support coordination and account management for delivered infrastructure
  • Coordination of maintenance, monitoring and support activity with specialist technical partners
  • Change-request and incident-coordination process for ongoing client engagements
  • A single point of contact for support matters spanning multiple technology and network vendors

We coordinate ongoing support and account management across the vendors and partners involved in a delivery — we do not claim to run our own 24/7 network operations centre unless and until that is independently verified.
